Uranus will provide an android mobile application that will communicate with the core banking system in 2 ways: real time entry and offline with synchronization to core. The former directly communicates with the core banking system through a mobile communication in a real time mode while the latter provides synchronization module for the mobile data transfer.

mPassbook – Customer Application

This android-based application for microfinance members enables them with multiple banking features thus reducing cost of the passbook use and its tedious management. Run in Nepali language and supported by all android devices, this application has features like deposit (balance/mini statement) and loan (statement and schedule) information, meeting summary, messages, utility payment and fund transfer.

SMS Alert Service

The SMS Alert Service is developed as a solution to the increasing fraud cases in the microfinance sector as it notifies the client about their every financial activity with microfinance. It also creates meeting summaries and disseminates to every member, provides transaction summary and generates SMS as per the need of the company.

SMS Service Portal

This is a software instrument that helps the MFI in sending SMS to a particular staff, group of staff, board member(s), and customer (individual, group, branch-specific or area-specific).
